Hints and tips for your Facebook video campaign
Marketers all over the world are betting on Facebook video ads as they show much better CTR and ROI if compared with static ones. But before rolling out a video ad campaign, be sure that you have considered all the “bottlenecks” of creating and promoting your video to make it show better conversion. This check-list will help you with that.
1. Create high-res videos in all aspect ratios
To enhance the effectiveness of your ad campaign create a video in all aspect ratios available to make it suit different ad placements and formats. Facebook recommends to use square (1:1) and vertical (4:5) aspect ratios for feed placements, vertical full screen (9:16) videos will work for stories, while horizontal (16:9) are good for in-stream videos. The video resolution also matters. The platform recommends using the highest-resolution video available that meets file size and ratio limits. See Facebook recommendation article.
2. Capture attention quickly
When it comes to video ad content, every second counts. If the video shown in the Facebook feed isn’t catchy, people will keep scrolling to find something more interesting. So, create videos that are 15 seconds or less and try to captivate your audience in the first three seconds.
3. Add a Risk Warning
IQOption require you to add a risk warning to all iqoption ads to meet regulatory requirements. Your ad video should also include a general warning of risks associated with trading – Risk Warning: Your capital might be at risk. If you need translations of the warning phrase feel free to contact your affiliate manager.
4. Add a call-to-action text or a button
At the end of the video, iqoption recommends you add a call-to-action phrase like: Install Now with the download badges for App Store and Google Play (find them on the official iqoption website). In case you run out of ideas for call-to-action phrases, the affiliate manager will provide you with examples. With Facebook, you can also add a call-to-action button to your in-stream video ads (you can find it in the Facebook help center). All the links to IQOption applications can be found in the Promo section of the affiliate account.
5. Show the platform’s interface
The video should reflect the IQOption platform’s interface. There’s no need to show the entire trading room, instead, IQ OPTION recommends using some of its elements such as buy/sell buttons, profit pop-ups, or a candlestick chart. Thus, it will be clear what kind of application is being advertised and what’s the aim of it.
6. Don’t use misleading statements
Do not advertise IQ OPTION using false information or misleading statements. That is to say, don’t promise to get instant profit at a single button click. Try to keep the balance between potential benefits for clients and the risks associated with trading.
